There are numerous transport links within Newcastle city centre close to the casino entrance, including Newcastle central train station with both local and national services. The nearby Newcastle metro has services running to all areas of the city and towards Sunderland and Gateshead. Just beyond Newcastle central train station there are a large number of bus stops with services running to all areas of the city.

There is a large car park available in front of the casino. There are three accessible spaces available immediately to the left of the casino entrance. The line markings are worn. It is possible to drop off less mobile customers immediately in front of the entrance. There is level step free access into the casino from the car park.

The Reception is located on the ground floor through the entrance lobby. It is signed with good lighting and good circulation at the front of the desk.

The entrance to the casino is to the right side of the building as you approach. The Entrance has a set of double outward opening glazed doors which open to 1700mm. These lead into a small lobby, to the left is another set of glazed doors leading into the reception Area.
Surfaces on the approach to the entrance are suitable for wheelchair users. The threshold is level.

The doors are manual with pull handles within reach of all users.
Door pressure is kept to a minimum on manually operated doors fitted with self-closing devices.
